CANDLE HOLDERS
The “Thru-block“ candle holders are versatile, modular, and sculptural: They can be easily manipulated to create a wide variety of patterns and will accommodate many different dining conditions or display needs. They are available in reclaimed Oregon black walnut in two lengths: The 12“L which is suitable for 3‘-0“- 3‘-6“ wide tables and the 16“L for 3‘-6“ or wider tables. The holders also come in two different width/heights: The 1 3/4“W x 1 3/4“H is more slender and will accommadate tapered candle sizes of approx. 7/8“ and the 2 1/2“W x 2 1/2“H holders accommodate 7/8“ dia. up to 1 ½“ diameter candles. Their larger ½“-deep x 1 5/8“-diameter depression in the top face also functions as a wax “moat“ or “wax catch,“ providing a large enough dish to also hold a votive or Tea candle. We recommend the Ikea “Glimma“ (1/2“ deep tins). The 1 ¾“ x 1 ¾“ candle holders are also available in solid aluminum stock with a tumbled natural finish.
